The most popular baby names so far in 2013

Some old standbys and new monikers round out the top baby names so far in 2013 according to Nameberry, a leading baby-naming website.

It’s no surprise Katniss made the girls’ list. The popular “Hunger Games” character, made famous in the movies by Hollywood IT girl Jennifer Lawrence, jumped several spots in the list so far this year. That name just broke the top 10.

On the boys’ side, there’s a surprise name coming in at number 4. Django makes the list. The name (with a silent “D”), was on everyone’s lips this year as actor Jamie Foxx popularized the name in Quentin Tarantino’s Academy Award-winning movie “Django Unchained.”
