Rick Elaschuk has been an Oil trainer since the golden years of hockey in Edmonton, and has held on to four Stanley Cup rings.
Returning home on Canada Day, he found his fence smashed, his door kicked in, his house burgled and his rings gone.
The ’84, ’85, ’87 and ’88 rings are worth between $6,000 to $10,000 each, said a trader.
