The girlfriend and sister of Ronald Carlow, who disappeared two weeks ago, made an emotional appeal yesterday for information about his whereabouts.
“We believe someone out there must know where he is,” said girlfriend Christina Saxton, choking back tears. “We miss him a lot and we’re very worried about him.”
Carlow vanished after leaving his Yaletown apartment on foot. A surveillance camera captured him wearing only shorts, a T-shirt and flip-flops. He has no history of mental illness and is not known to use drugs.
These factors, said Const. Tim Fanning, make his disappearance very suspicious.
Carlow did, however, have “acquaintances” who have surfaced during the investigation.
These acquaintances were previously unknown to both Saxton and Carlo’s sister, Loretta Copley, who did not elaborate.
Fanning would not comment, saying it could compromise the investigation.
