Three arrested after alleged shooting at house party in southeast Calgary

Three men have been arrested by the Calgary Police after an alleged shooting incident Saturday in the city’s southeast.

Police were called to the 3100 block of 100 St. SE for reports of gunshots being fired. A black Lincoln Navigator was seen fleeing the area and Strathmore RCMP and Calgary police patrolled the area in search of the vehicle.

Chestermere and Strathmore RCMP located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, and arrested three men after they alleged the suspects were involved in the southeast shooting, which is believed to have resulted from an argument at a house party in the area, police said.

Weil Buol Lual, 31 of Red Deer, faces 10 charges; Philip Anny, 25, of Calgary, faces seven firearms and breach charges, and Alith Alith, 26, of Calgary faces eight firearms and breach charges.

No one was injured in the alleged shooting, police said.
