A workers’ rights rally turned rowdy for a few people on Saturday. Three men were arrested during the May Day March through downtown Halifax.

A 19-year-old and a 23-year-old man were arrested after they allegedly knocked down a mailbox and tried to drag it onto Spring Garden Road. Another man, 24, was arrested for breach of the peace and was handed two tickets for not following the directions of a police officer. He allegedly refused to move his bicycle to the right side of the road.
