If you’ve bought a lottery ticket, you may be entitled to a million bucks.
Calgary has become a lucky city of late, with three out of the four winners of $1,000,000 in the Western Canada Lottery residing in Calgary.
Andrea Marantz, with the WCL Corporation, said they’ve received just one phone call in regards to the winnings.
“It’s very exciting,” she said. “Occasionally people will have bought a ticket and forgotten about it.”
The Millionaire for Life lottery top prize of $1,000,000 for 25 years, also won by an Albertan, hasn’t been officially claimed yet, either.
Marantz said the winner wasn’t from Calgary or Edmonton, but could live anywhere else.
