EDMONTON - Three people are facing prostitution-related charges in what Edmonton police allege may be the city's first case of human trafficking.

Investigators say they got word early this month about a possible bawdy house involving a massage and health spa business.

The business and an apartment were searched by police last Saturday and a man and a woman were arrested.

Four women who remained inside the business were also taken into custody, and police say they later learned that three of them were allegedly victims of human trafficking.

The three range in age from 21 to 41.

Mei Fang Chen and Xiu Zheng Chen, who are both in their early 30s, along with Qui Wang, who is 41, will make their first court appearance on Sept. 21.
