Three people will appear in court at later dates on separate drug charges after Halifax Regional Police made three arrests last Friday.

Police say at 5 p.m., a traffic stop on Highway 102 just past Hammonds Plains Road led to a 33-year-old being arrested after Dilaudid, cocaine, ecstacy and a replica handgun were allegedly found inside his vehicle.

About four hours later, police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of South Park and Morris streets in Halifax. Officers arrested a 30-year-old Halifax man who they say had ecstacy on him.

A third drug arrest was made at 9:45 p.m. as police arrested a 29-year-old Halifax woman after she was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine.
