Tim Hortons robbed twice in 24 hrs

For the second time in a little more than 24 hours, armed men robbed a Tim Hortons’ coffee shop at 1384 Baseline Rd.

At 9:31 p.m. Sunday, two males armed with a revolver and a knife entered the Tim Hortons at 1384 Baseline Rd. through the front door, police said yesterday.

A man with a knife allegedly grabbed one of the staff and forced him to open the cash registers. The male with the gun grabbed the other staff member and forced him to the back of the restaurant. Both males fled the scene through the back door.

The suspects are both English-speaking males of Middle Eastern descent.

The first suspect spoke English with a heavy accent and had a deep voice. He is between 20 and 24 years old, 5-4 and 135 pounds. He was carrying a knife, wore a red bandanna over the lower part of his face, a black tuque, black coat and gloves.

The second suspect spoke English with a slight accent and is described as 5-8 with a thin build, in his mid-20s with dark skin. He was wearing a red bandanna over the lower part of his face, a black hoodie pulled up, no jacket and black jeans at the time of the incident. He was carrying a revolver in his right hand.
