Time to hit the slopes

The clocks have moved forward, the morning birds are chirping, and it is the perfect time to get out on the slopes to enjoy some spring skiing or snowboarding. There is still more than two metres of snow blanketing out local mountains and here are some upcoming events and wicked deals for anyone looking to get in some winter activities before the golf clubs and mountain bikes come out.

There is no better deal for skiing and snowboarding than Grouse Mountain’s Y2Play Pass. One pass allows you unlimited skiing or riding for the rest of this season and all of next season for just $295 for adults and $50 for children!

Want to take your skiing to the next level? Crazy Canuck Dave Murray started his camps 25 years ago and today in his memory, they live on with legendary coaches. Take part in the 25th anniversary special camp April 7-9 at Whistler Blackcomb (whistlerblackcomb.com)

If you do not ski or snowboard but want to experience what these areas are like then check out the Sno-Limo. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings as your personal chauffeur guides you down the mountain while you sit back and relax in the comfortable Sno-Limo. Currently Grouse Mountain, Whistler/Blackcomb and many interior destinations have the service and you can check them out on-line at www.sno-limo.com.
