The look: I woke up like this

The runway: Finally a designer’s reference of India goes beyond the literal paisleys and lotuses. Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo’s inspiration — the country through the lens of contemporary photographer, Dayanita Singh and classical dancer Rukmini Devi Arundale — transpired into their spring outing via delicate pleats on flowing skirts and sari-like draping on blouses. Bottom line, these are beautifully constructed clothes for self-assured women.

Insta-worthy: The structural taffeta culottes (a must-have) and voluminous pinstripe shirtdress.

The takeaway: Pay attention to this brand.
