Tories shuffle tasks

It’s been a busy week for interim Tory leader Jamie Baillie — first heannounced he’s running in Cumberland South and then on Thursday herearranged critic appointments.

It’s been a busy week for interim Tory leader Jamie Baillie — first he announced he’s running in Cumberland South and then on Thursday he rearranged critic appointments.

Baillie will be looking after the Premier’s Office, policy and priorities, and intergovernmental affairs. Chris D’Entremont will be leader in the House of Assembly, and Chuck Porter will take on the party whip position but stays on as the deputy house leader. Cecil Clarke was assigned as critic for the attorney-general and justice and the Human Rights Act. Karen Casey will take over as transport critic and Allan MacMaster was assigned as critic of the Regulations Act and Treasury Board as well as the finance critic.
