TORONTO — Toronto FC has rescheduled an August game against the visiting New York Red Bulls, amid reports it is set to host Real Madrid.
The Aug. 9 game against the Bulls at BMO Field has been moved to June 13, “due to a potential conflict at BMO Field,” the MLS team said in a statement Friday. It did not elaborate.

According to The Globe and Mail, Toronto is working towards hosting Madrid on Aug. 7, on a temporary grass surface on top of the artificial turf at BMO Field.
Real Madrid has already announced a game Aug. 9 against D.C. United.
Toronto’s only home game in August will be Aug. 15 against DC United.
The team plays three times at BMO Field in June, including twice against the Red Bulls (June 13 and 24).
Toronto hosts the L.A. Galaxy on June 6.
