New features for Corolla, Matrix and Camry
Toyota has set its pricing for the 2009 Corolla, Matrix, Camry and Camry Hybrid, all launched this month.
The all-new 2009 Corolla, starting at $14,565, and Matrix, with an MSRP of $15,705, come with new standard features such as active front headrests, six airbags, a tilt/telescopic steering column and electric power steering.
The Corolla’s sticker price is the lowest introductory price offered on this vehicle since the 1997 model year.
As for the ’09 Matrix, its starting price is down $1,495 versus the comparable 2008 base model.
The 2009 Camry and Camry Hybrid also come with a suite of new features.
For example, Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control are standard equipment on the Camry LE V6, while the Camry SE V6 receives a power moonroof and an anti-theft system.
For the ’09 Camry Hybrid, a power moonroof, dual illuminated vanity mirrors and rear reading lamps are standard.
The Camry starts at $23,400, while the Hybrid has a $30,660 sticker.
