Mendocino Outlet

Ever Wonder what happens to all the swoon-worthy merchandise from luxe-hip Mendocino after their regular clientele has combed through the sale racks? It ends up over in the Beaches at their outlet store, an East-End secret, where more accessibly-priced yet very of the moment pieces can also be yours year-round. And, right now, frugalistas are in a frenzy as absolutely everything from fall/winter has been super-slashed down and is now tagged at $10, $20 or $30 per item — yes, this includes tops, dresses, blazers, jeans and more. Hoof it there quickly or you’ll miss out on some very satisfying retail therapy. While you’re there, you can also get a taste of the spring goodies coming in as the winter stock scrams.

Beauty Duty: LypSyl Lip Balm

Winter can be brutal on the skin and particularly on the lips.

To keep your pucker kissably hydrated, consider trying out the latest line of lip softening sticks from LypSyl. These lip balms have a healing beeswax base infused with vitamins A and E, which are incredibly moisturizing.

FF’s fave is the the “Honey-Rose” LypRadiance balm with a subtly pink gloss that keeps lips silky for hours ($5.50 at Shoppers Drugmart and other pharmacies).
