Many buyers shopping for a dwelling are looking at the environmental implications of their purchases with heightened scrutiny.
Edmonton’s Effect Home Builders Ltd. had this in mind when they created their latest project, which is nestled in the mature Crestwood neighbourhood in the heart of Edmonton at 10007–148 Street. The project blends the traditional craftsman style with some of the most advanced technology available, and is called the Stratus EnviroHome.
“We absolutely are noticing people are seeking out our company because of the enviro-friendly focus,” Effect managing partner Les Wold said. “Now people are more aware and they see there are other options out there to choose.”
The dwelling had the environment in mind both inside and out, with everything from compost amenities in the kitchen to the type of paints used on interiors and exteriors.
