Two men and one woman are facing drug charges after Halifax Regional Police made a traffic stop then conducted a search of a residence on the Herring Cove Road Wednesday night.

Police say the incident began after first observing a drug transaction in the 100 block area of Herring Cove in the late afternoon, which eventually led to a traffic stop and a 38-year-old male driver from Sackville and a 34-year-old male pedestrian being arrested. From there, a search of the residence on Herring Cove Road took place, with police saying they seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hashish, other drug paraphernalia and cash. Police say a 33-year-old Halifax woman was arrested at the residence and is now facing drug trafficking charges, along with the 38-year-old.
