There has been another swarming in Halifax, with the weapon of choice for this latest attack being a tree branch.

A group of five males approached two men walking northbound on Robie Street near Oakland Road early Saturday morning. After being “verbally belittled,” according to police, the men were struck in the head with a tree branch, punched and kicked.

Police don’t know whether this ninth swarming since Sept. 3 is related to the others.
