Three men are in custody after police say they tracked a man wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant to a Fairview motel yesterday.
Police made the arrests at the Seasons Motor Inn on Melrose Avenue early yesterday afternoon.
At about 9:20 a.m., police say the man wanted on the warrant was spotted entering an apartment building on Harlington Crescent.
The man fled the area and was tracked to the motel shortly after.
At around 12:45 p.m., officers with the emergency response team then responded, said police spokesman Const. Brian Palmeter.
“Once they were on scene, the man and two other individuals surrendered without incident,” said Palmeter, adding it took about 30 minutes for the trio to yield to police.
