‘Not my president’: See the photos from the first night’s Trump protests

Protestors across the country took to the streets Wedensday night to demonstrate against President-elect Donald Trump.

Thousands gathered in New York City with signs blasting his campaign stances on immigrants, Muslims, women and more as they shouted “Not my president,” according to Reuters.

In Chicago they reportedly shouted “No Trump! No KKK! No racist USA, as more than a thousand gathered outside Trump International Hotel and Tower.

Though after being elected, Trump promised to be a president for all Americans, saying: “It is time for us to come together as one united people,” that speech did little to quell fears, according to protestors.

“I’m just really terrified about what is happening in this country,” 22-year-old Adriana Rizzo said, according to Reuters, whose sign said “Enjoy your rights while you can.”
