They are the 2010 winners of the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards presented by the Royal Bank of Canada and Canadian Immigrant Magazine, a division of the Star Media Group, which owns the Toronto Star.

Twelve winners are from Greater Toronto, including Suchart Yodkerepauprai, a Toronto gym owner.

Thai boxing helped guide the Thai immigrant on the right path and led him to a university education. In 1987, he came here on a scholarship to study landscape design at the University of Guelph.

Yodkerepauprai has applied the teachings of self-discipline from his martial arts training to guide marginalized youth toward a better future.
