Ottawa police have charged two city residents following two separate child pornography-related investigations.

 

On Wednesday, Ottawa Police Internet Child Exploitation investigators executed a search warrant in Ottawa and charged a man after examining computers and other computer-related media. A 37-year-old Ottawa man faces charges of possession and making available child pornography. Edouard Chalfeev appeared in court Thursday.

 

Police also charged a city woman with accessing and possession of child pornography Tuesday.

 

Police received information that prompted investigators to seize and examine computers and media belonging to an individual. After reviewing the items that were seized, police charged a 30-year-old woman. Crystal Dodds appeared in court Wednesday.
