Two face charges after stolen vehicle recovered

A vehicle stolen in New Brunswick was spotted in Dartmouth on Monday night.

Police pulled over the vehicle just before 10 p.m. and the driver allegedly took off on foot. A woman passenger was arrested, and a police dog tracked down the driver who was hiding in a nearby yard.

Both the man and woman were scheduled to appear in a Dartmouth courtroom yesterday morning to face charges of possession of stolen property. The woman faces other char­ges including possession of a prohibited weapon.
