TORONTO – Toronto police say two men face 24 charges in a firearms investigation after a vehicle was stopped in a busy shopping area on Monday.
Police say a loaded .22 calibre handgun, narcotics and money were seized from a vehicle in the Yonge St. and Dundas St. area.
Dennis Wihnon, 26, of Kitchener, has been charged with 14 weapons and drug-related charges.
Ronald Francis, 36, faces 10 counts – all firearms related.
Wihnon and Francis are to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
