Two city men face charges in relation to two separate personal robberies.
Early Sunday, a lone male accosted a victim in the ByWard Market area and demanded cash.
The victim was assaulted and suffered minor injuries, police say.
Witnesses intervened and the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. Responding patrol officers later arrested him.

Degady, 29, was charged with robbery, uttering threats, possessing a
weapon, assault and breach of probation. He appears in show cause court
Tuesday.
On April 9, an 83-year-old woman was pushed to the ground in the area of Carling Avenue and
Grenon Avenue, police say. A man stole her personal effects, but she was not injured.
Patrol
officers later arrested a robbery suspect in the area and charged a
27-year-old man with robbery and assaulting a police officer with the
intent to resist arrest.
Abdifatah Aden was held for a show cause hearing and remains in custody.
