Two men have been shot dead and a home was sprayed with bullets in three shootings in Abbotsford since last night.
Police arrived at a field near No. 3 Road around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning after receiving reports about a man’s body being discovered in the grass.
“The investigation into that death is still in the preliminary stages, however police are treating the death as suspicious,” said Const. Casey Vinet.
The previous night, a man in his 20s was found slumped over in the driver’s seat of a car that appeared to have drifted off the street on Bateman Road.
Vinet said the man hasn’t been identified, but all indications are that he was targeted.
A third drive-by shooting was reported just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning at a home near the Abbotsford-Mission Bridge.
Residents told police someone shot at the home from the street. No one was injured in that incident.
