Two men have died behind bars in the past two days.
The first man, 28, was found unresponsive in an Enfield RCMP cell at 3:50 a.m. Sunday. He’d been arrested for breaching a court order Saturday. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
In a separate instance, at 6:12 a.m. today, an inmate at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility was discovered dead in his cell. His family are being notified.
Police did not identify either man.
