Two men injured in ByWard Market stabbing

Two men in their 30s were injured in a stabbing incident in the ByWard Market late Sunday night.

At 11:37 p.m., paramedics responded to a stabbing near the intersection of York and Dalhousie streets.

A 35-year-old male suffered a single stab wound to the chest, paramedics said. He was treated for bleeding and assessed for possible lung injuries. A 30-year-old male also suffered a superficial stab wound to the neck. Both men were taken to the Ottawa Trauma Centre where they were in stable condition.
