Former B.C. Lions player Josh Boden is facing two more charges of sexual assault, adding to two similar charges laid last month, police have announced.

A 22-year-old woman has come forward, claiming a man sexually assaulted her in the elevator of a downtown Vancouver office building on Aug. 13, police say. A second report has been filed by a 39-year-old woman, who claims she was sexually assaulted on a SkyTrain escalator on Aug. 25.

Boden was already facing two other charges of sexual assault and one count of resisting arrest.

When he was released on bail on Sept. 24, police issued a rare public warning saying he may pose a threat to women.

Last year, Boden was charged with assaulting his former girlfriend, Kimberly Hallgarth, but was acquitted of the charge.

Hallgarth was found dead in her Burnaby home the following March. Boden’s next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
