Two new fashion videos

Two new fashion campaigns to get us thinking about fall — though we never want you to leave, summer! First up is a video on www.style.com for Claudia Schiffer’s new cashmere line with German knitwear brand, Iris von Arnim. In it, the super model — dressed in dark chunky sweaters and sexy fitted knit dresses from her collection, and reminding us of Bridget Bardot more than ever — runs through a creepy forest. Is she lost? Running from a lover? Who care, all we can think about is will the black cable knit cardigan/coat be in our budget? We’ll find out when the line debuts on www.netaporter.comlater this month.

Shiffer explains her fascination with the dark side of forests in this video for the New York Times, and reveals that she was very shy growing up and never thought she’d make it as a model. We kinda buy it.

Next up is Phillip Lim’s new fall 2011 video called “Girls on Bikes,” which debuted exclusively on www.style.com. Lim is apparently as awed by hip-looking chics cycling to work or a party in fabulous ensembles as we are. Here’s what he told the site, “I was researching all these images and found all of these chic girls who ride bikes without compromising their style,” the designer said. “They are really dressed for the day — it’s poetic and beautiful at the same time.”
