Two teens arrested after forcible confinement complaint

Calgary police collared two teens suspected in an alleged forcible confinement case of a fellow teen in the city's southeast.

The Calgary Police Service is continuing to investigate an incident last night in which a 15-year-old female was reportedly held against her will.

Police received a tip from a third party around 9 p.m. and traced the alleged victim to a residence in the 2200 block of 37th Street SE.

Upon arriving, the alleged victim ran out of the house with a 15-year-old male pursuing her.

When he and another 16-year-old male inside the residence realized police were on scene, they attempted to evade arrest, according to police.

Both suspects were apprehended after receiving minor injuries from a police dog during the arrest.

The 15-year-old female appeared physically unharmed in the incident, police said.
