TV icon Mary Tyler Moore will be joining NBC’s Lipstick Jungle for a guest role next season, ew.com reports.
Featuring in several episodes, Moore will play the retired mother of Brooke Shields’ studio executive character. The actress’ stint starts with the show’s second-season premiere on Sept. 24.
“I’m fortunate to have had a front seat to the evolution of working women in television,” Moore said. “It’s been great fun to watch the strong female characters of Lipstick Jungle .... I’m delighted to be a part of a show which is so well written.”
