Look up and look forward.
That’s the message from newly selected University of Calgary president and vice-chancellor, Dr. Elizabeth Cannon.
In her remarks yesterday at the institution, Cannon, who will take over July 1, said the appointment was both “humbling and invigorating.”
“I see so much potential at this university, and I intend to tap that potential,” she said.
Cannon has served as the Dean of the U of C’s Schulich School of Engineering and is a professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering.
