Undergrads win in five categories

It was five gold medals, one silver and one bronze for a group of Haskayne School of Business students at the University of Calgary, who extended the school’s streak of excellence.

Haskayne undergraduate students took first place overall at the inter-collegiate Business Competition (ICBC), one of the world’s most prestigious business case competitions, hosted by Queens University in Ontario this weekend.

Co-coach and Professor Larry A. Wood told Metro the students continued a 30-year winning streak with their medal haul.

“It’s a great reward and recognition for the very hard work the students have put in and it has paid off. For the university it proves that we have some pretty impressive students,” Wood said.
