Ottawa police have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run with a motorcyclist who died in hospital Thursday.
At 5:20 a.m., a motorcycle and a vehicle collided near the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Richmond Road, police say.

The driver of a motorcycle, a 44-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he died. His name is not being released as police have yet to notify next of kin.
The second vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene. The driver of that vehicle was
arrested Friday morning.
The 56-year-old Ottawa man is charged with failing to stop
at an accident causing death. The investigation is ongoing and further
charges are possible.
The driver was to appear in court this morning.
