Toronto police say a missing bag of medicine has been found.

The medical bag was located Thursday night and all the stolen medication was accounted for, police announced Friday morning.

Police and emergency medical service workers had been looking for a bag of drugs that went missing while they were responding to a medical call in the Bloor West Village early Thursday morning.

Officials said the bag contained various drugs that had the potential to cause serious bodily harm.

EMS were at a home near Bloor Street West and Quebec Avenue, west of Keele Street, at about 3:30 a.m.

As they transported a sick child to hospital, ambulance crews realized the bag was inadvertently left behind, said police.

When they returned to the scene they discovered the bag had gone missing.
