MISSISSAUGA — A teenager from Mississauga has died after being struck by a GO Transit train shortly after getting off the same train.
Police and ambulance were called about 12:20 p.m. Saturday to an area at the west end of Clarkson GO station in south Mississauga, where they found the 18-year-old badly hurt.

Peel police Const. Wayne Patterson says it appears the teen had become caught and dragged a short distance just after leaving a westbound train that was pulling out of the station.
The youth, who was with friends, was found with serious leg injuries but was conscious and breathing.
He was rushed by air ambulance to a downtown Toronto trauma centre, where he died.
GO Transit trains on the route were cancelled for more than an hour and they are now back on a delayed schedule.
Police did not release his name.
