Actor Daniel Radcliffe says he’s looking forward to reading the final book in the Harry Potter series, due out Saturday.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe talks about reprising the role that made him famous, his first onscreen kiss, and his love life.

Q: In Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, your character has his first kiss. How was it?

A: It was so strange ... but it was not that difficult.

Q: Director David Yates has said that you asked for 30 takes.

A: That’s not true! He should stop saying that. (Laughs.) It was 13 at the beginning of the week! (Laughs.) What happened was we shoot with six different camera angles and we had about 30 takes in total. So it was about six takes from each angle.

Q: Has anything changed with your Harry Potter character?

A: In this movie he is a very different character, (and) is not the same as before. It is a very different performance. That’s the reason I liked to play him again.

Q: What can you tell us about the final book, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, which will be released on Saturday?

A: The only thing I can tell you is that I’m looking forward to reading it because Harry Potter has been part of my life ... It will be very sad to read the book and find out what happens to “me.” It would be very, very sad if “I” finally die.

Q: Do you have time for romance?

A: There is always time for romance.
