BRAMPTON, Ont. - A pilot killed when a helicopter crashed into an
apple orchard Monday has been identified as a Georgetown, Ont.,
CTV reports that friends confirm Keith Siversen
crashed into the orchard at around 8 p.m. in the Heritage Road-Steeles
Avenue area of Brampton, just east of Georgetown.
Siversen was declared dead at the scene and police have said he was the only passenger in the aircraft.
Witnesses said they saw the helicopter plunge nose first into the ground before exploding into a ball of fire.Police say the helicopter was a two-seater and the flight originated from City Centre Airport on the Toronto Islands.
