Halifax RCMP spokesman Cpl. Joe Taplin said an 18-year-old male stabbed during an attempted robbery by two men Tuesday afternoon in front of the King of Donair on Sackville Drive isn’t co-operating with police.

“He’s not co-operating with us right now,” Taplin said yesterday of the victim. “He wasn’t co-operating with officers last night. When we tried to talk to him he wasn’t giving us too many details.”

Police say at 4:45 p.m. the victim was approached by the two suspects and during the incident one of the males pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the hand.

The suspects fled in a black vehicle, police say, while the victim went to a friend’s house on Bruce Drive where 9-1-1 was called.
