Victim of alleged abduction not co-operating

RCMP are investigating a possible abduction Saturday in Sackville, but the victim isn’t cooperating. At 4:25 a.m., a 44-year-old woman called 9-1-1, asking dispatchers to send a car “right away.”

When police got to the Cobequid Road address, no one was at the apartment. The building superintendent let them in, where they found signs of a struggle and no sign of the woman.

RCMP found a suspect vehicle at 6:20 a.m. and then found the woman in the same building at 6:25 a.m., but in a different apartment.

Police say she isn’t helping with the investigation. No charges have been laid.
