Police have identified the two men found shot to death in two separate locations in Abbotsford.
The body of Ryan Alexander Richards, 19, from Abbotsford was found in a field near No. 2 Road early Tuesday morning.
The previous night, Sean Patrick Murphy, 21, from Mission was found shot to death in a car on Bateman Road.
Both men were known to police and were suspected of having links to organized crime.
“Police believe these homicides are not random and that there is a strong possibility the victims’ own criminal lifestyles led to their deaths,” said Const. Casey Vinet.
“It is unknown if the two cases are in anyway connected, however, it is something investigators are carefully considering.”
