In an effort to end one man’s alcohol addiction, his friends set up an elaborate prank to fool him into believing he’s been in a coma for 10 years.
Comedian and prankster Tom Mabe decided to teach his friend a lesson he will never forget after his fifth DUI.
Mabe and several others used an empty office to set up a mock hospital room. When the man passes out after a night of drinking, they put him in the room. When he wakes up, a “doctor” tells him he was in an accident 10 years ago and it is now 2023.
The prank even included fake news reports about Miley Cyrus facing eviction from a trailer park for “refusing to stop defecating on neighbors’ yards.”
Mabe later enters the room dressed as another doctor. After asking the man a few questions about how he is feeling, he slaps him around and reveals the prank. “You have five DUIs!” he shouts.
The video ends with this important message: “Happy Holidays. Don’t Drink and Drive.”
