A longtime zoo worker in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has terminal cancer, and his last wish was to visit the animals he'd cared for one last time.
Mario, 54, worked at Blijdorp Zoo and helped clean the giraffe enclosure. He has terminal brain cancer and little time to live. Thanks to the Ambulance Wish Foundation, he was to be able to spend a final day with the giraffes at the zoo.
During Mario's visit, it appears that the giraffes could sense it would be their last time seeing him, and one of them walked up to Mario to give him a goodbye kiss.
