They’re an international sensation and now a proud pair of Pennsylvania Bald Eagles at Codorus State Park are also proud parents.
Early Tuesday the first egg laid by Mama Eagle on Valentine’s Day (can you get any more romantic?!) hatched.
A live stream on the Pennsylvania Game Commission caught it all.
Before Tuesday’s eaglet popped out of its shell, the site had already had near 650,000 viewers in 140 countries.
A second egg is expected to hatch on March 27 -- and the baby birds will stay nest-bound through June or July.
