NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – Police in Nova Scotia have released a picture and video showing a young woman leaving a bar the night she disappeared two weeks ago.
The grainy video was taken from a surveillance camera outside Dooly’s bar in New Glasgow on Oct. 9.
It shows Amber Kirwan walking away from the bar alone sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. as a crowd gathers outside and a police car drives by.
The 19-year-old hasn’t been seen since, despite numerous ground searches and underwater dives.
Const. Ken MacDonald says police released the picture and video to bring in more tips from people who might have information on Kirwan’s disappearance.
Searches have been conducted in New Glasgow, Trenton and the Hillside area, just outside Trenton, while rescue boats have combed the East River.
