Embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford attempts a Jamaican accent at a fast food restaurant while apparently under the influence in a video posted to YouTube.

Ford is seen standing in front of a counter while slurring unintelligibly in a Jamaican-sounding accent. The New York Timesreported that the rant focused on police surveillance, though it is difficult to discern.

"Five months, mon," he seems to say at one point.

"All we know is, we got the best mayor in the world man," says another man in the restaurant.

"I'm a straight-up guy," Ford responds, before again launching into the indiscernible accent.

The Times reported that Ford admitted to reporters that he had been drinking and was speaking to “some personal friends” when the video was recorded. Ford had previously said he was committed to sobriety.
