Sander Ratsep of the Dalhousie Tigers has been named Atlantic University Sport men’s volleyball MVP.
Tigers head coach Dan Ota was named AUS coach of the year. The Tigers (16-2) vie for their 23rd straight AUS championship starting Friday at 7 p.m. at Dalplex against the New Brunswick Varsity Reds.
On the women’s side, Saint Mary’s Huskies sophomore outside hitter Kerri Smit was MVP, while Halifax’s Katherine Ryan of St. Francis Xavier was rookie of the year.
