This Canada Day, don’t just enjoy the festivities, be a part of them.
The National Capital Commission is looking for volunteers to help during the July 1 celebrations in Ottawa.
Every year, the festivities in the nation’s capital attract more than 460,000 visitors.
The event requires more than 500 volunteers to distribute flags, assist performers and individuals with special needs, help at the craft, face-painting and games areas for kids, and to act as information officers.
