“I was approached three-and-a-half years ago to run because a group of people in Ranchlands felt I had assets that would benefit city council. After careful consideration I agreed to run for office three years ago and that is why I am running for office again.”

Safety and security, traffic and transit in Ward 2

Political experience:

Alderman since 2001

Why run?

“I’ve been the Ward 2 alderman for nine years now, I’ve got a series of initiatives going up there that I’m anxious to see completed and there are ongoing planning, transit and transportation issues to deal with. City-wide, the budget issue and the Calgary Metropolitan Plan are very huge.”

No increase on property taxes and no cuts on services. Municipal infrastructure projects such as roads and transportation systems should be top priority.

Why run?

“Because I like politics. I love solving people problems and the problem of the city of Calgary.

The city of Calgary needs a good alderman in Ward 2 who will make good decisions for the people of Ward 2 and the city of Calgary.”
